Call for Demos

The IEEE SECON 2023 demo session solicits the submission of research, platform, and product demonstrations and exhibits from both academia and industry that falls at the intersection of traditional sensing/networking and new disciplinary areas including (but not limited to) machine intelligence, data analytics, edge computing, social networks, rural connectivity, and electromagnetic fields. The demo session offers a great opportunity to showcase innovative research or product prototypes, systems, software and hardware platforms, and novel applications. We also welcome live demos reproducing results of papers presented at IEEE SECON, as well as other relevant venues.

Contributions of interest include, but are not limited to, the following demonstrations:

  • Novel applications and techniques, algorithms, and protocols
  • Work-in-progress research, prototypes, and real-world deployments
  • Novel hardware and tools
  • Testbeds and living labs
  • Platforms for research and real-world deployments
  • Public-private and industrial-academic collaboration initiatives
  • Pilots and proof-of-concept demonstrations from public-private projects

A Best Demo Award will be given to a high-impact demo selected by a committee, taking into account input from conference participants.

The abstract of accepted demos will appear in the conference proceeding. The presenting author must register for the conference.
